Traditional Residence Halls | Carroll University -威尼斯游戏大厅

Traditional Halls serve as home to the majority of incoming and first-year students. These halls feature a mix of single and double rooms, common area bathrooms/kitchens and tiled floors. Standard furnishings include XL twin bed frame and mattress, desk, chair, dresser, hutch and bookcase. Laundry services are included as part of the housing fees and machines are provided in each housing facility.

This traditional-style residence hall is co-ed and each living unit is gender-specific. Formerly the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house, and later faculty and staff offices, A. Paul Jones Honors Hall was transformed back into student housing during Summer 2019, and currently serves as home to first-year students in our Honors Program Living Learning Community. A. Paul Jones Honors Hall offers single and double rooms with carpeted flooring and moveable furniture. This building offers common area bathrooms, a bright and airy study lounge with exposed brick walls, a lower level game room, a large kitchen with microwave, stove and refrigerator and laundry facilities.

A. Paul Jones Honors Hall is nestled in a historic, residential neighborhood at the end of Wright Street—less than a five-minute walk from Main Hall and within close proximity to the Campus Center.

Kilgour Hall offers gender-specific floors with single and double rooms with tile flooring. Each floor features study lounges, common area bathrooms and access to an elevator for its residents. The second floor has a full-size kitchen with microwave, stove and refrigerator. The five-floor building is one of the tallest on campus and offers excellent views of Main Lawn and the surrounding McCall Street Historic District. The facility also houses the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, which includes Multicultural Affairs, Global Education and Pre-College Programs on its ground floor.

Kilgour Hall is conveniently located across the street from the University's Campus Center and is just a four-minute walk to Main Hall. The first building on Carroll's campus to be partially powered by solar energy, Kilgour Hall has 52 solar panels installed on its roof.

North and South Bergstrom Halls, constructed in the 1960s, feature single and double occupancy rooms on gender-specific floors. The two buildings are connected via a hallway that houses four academic classrooms; two of which contain state-of-the-art-technology. The combined buildings underwent extensive renovation in Summer 2019—updating lobbies, shared kitchens, group study areas, new carpet, lighting and a fresh coat of paint. All rooms in the complex have tile flooring.

While North and South Bergstrom Halls are located on the southern end of Carroll's campus, they are just a five-minute walk from Main Hall.

Steele Hall and Swarthout Hall are home exclusively to incoming first-year students and feature double rooms and a limited number of single rooms on gender-specific floors with tile flooring, moveable furniture and common area bathrooms. These halls also feature study lounges, game room, and common area kitchen with microwave, stove and refrigerator. The buildings' shared spaces underwent major remodeling in Summer 2018 with updating flooring, lighting, furniture and paint.

Steele and Swarthout Halls are located immediately north of Carroll's Campus Center, near the heart of campus, and are a three-minute walk from Main Hall.
